Briggs telephone orders, with a special audit section, help ensure the appropriate information is properly communicated to all applicable areas. Simply record the verbal orders, send the original to the doctor for signature, send the remaining copies as instructed.  Routing is as follows:

1394/3: Part 1-White; Part 2-Canary; Part 3-Pink

·       Original Copy - Physician Please Sign and Return

·       DUPLICATE Copy - Destroy When Original Has Been Received and Placed On Medical Record

·       THIRD Copy – Pharmacy

1394/4: Part 1-White; Part 2-Canary; Part 3-Pink; Part 4-Green

·       Original Copy - Physician Please Sign and Return

·       DUPLICATE Copy - Destroy When Original Has Been Received and Placed On Medical Record

·       THIRD Copy – Pharmacy

·       QUADRUPLICATE Copy - Send With Patient If Transferred
