Briggs Individual Narcotics Record provides for documentation, including route, date, time, and dose, of a narcotic administered to an individual patient/resident.
It also serves as a record for the amount of the narcotic received by the facility, including date and who received the narcotic, as well as the date discontinued, the amount of the narcotic remaining, and the method of disposition.

The nurse and the witness to the disposition of the remaining narcotic are identified with signature/title and date fields to properly document who and how the narcotic was managed for the patient/resident.
