Norovirus is a disease that spreads readily and can cause massive facility-wide outbreaks of vomiting and diarrhea. This program focuses on management of these outbreaks as recommended by CDC's latest guidelines. It discusses the definition of an outbreak, signs and symptoms of Norovirus infection, and preventive measures including isolation, use of PPE, methods of hand hygiene and environmental cleaning. It has been written so that it is appropriate for staff in all departments.
