Functional Abilities (Section GG) Admission
For use in conjunction with MDS 3.0, the Functional Abilities (Section GG) - Admission worksheet is designed for use in gathering the section GG data for the 1st three days of a skilled resident's stay in facility. Not only is Section GG used for payment classification, but it is and will continue to be used for SNF Quality Reporting Measures. Failure to encode these items properly could result in a 2% reduction in your reimbursement!
